A VERSATILE GRANITA RECIPE FOR A SIMPLE, REFRESHING DESSERT.

GROCERY LIST:

  • ¼ cup | Coconut Milk

  • 1 regular | Peach

  • 1 large | Lemon or Lime

  • ¾ cup | Champagne, Prosecco, White Wine or Soda Water

KITCHENWARE:

  • 7x5-inch Glass Dish or Small Shallow Dish w/ Lid

  • Blender

  • Measuring Cups

Helpful tips!

  • This recipe can be made with basically any fruits and is a great way to use leftover fruits.

  • Double, triple or quadruple the recipe for more granita.


MAKE

GRANITA:

  • 1 large | Lemon or Lime

  • 1 regular | Peach

  • ¼ cup | Coconut Milk

  • ½ cup | Water

  • ¾ cup | Champagne, Prosecco, White Wine or Soda Water

  1. Squeeze citrus juice into blender. Slice peach, removing pit, and add peach, coconut milk and water. Blend until smooth and almost puréed.

  2. Add champagne and stir by hand. The champagne will bubble up so you don’t want to use the blender to mix.

  3. Pour into glass dish and freeze. Remove from freezer every hour and use a fork to fluff the granita. The granita will start out being frozen around the edges and very slushy in the center. After each hour it will become more consistent in texture and a fluffy, ice mixture, about 4 hours.

  4. Serve frozen. Store leftovers in airtight container in freezer.
